Wat Bun Samphan

After the delight of including the 139 steps at Wat Bun Samphan in my morning run, not once but four times, I couldn’t help but make it five by returning to the Wat with my camera. It was even hotter and more humid than in the morning so I skipped the chance to walk up Soi Khao Noi and jumped on my wee motorbike instead, it’s just a shame that the bike couldn’t make it up the stairs as well.  As well as being a Bhudist Temple, Wat Bun Samphan is also home to a monastery, a school and even a little market. There are also life-size models of elephants, giraffes and a deer, oh there’s a lot of stray dogs too.
