Sentinel Works, Glasgow

The Sentinel factory in Polmadie, Glasgow is the earliest reinforced concrete building in Scotland, built in 1903-04 by Archiebald Lietch and designed by Brand and Lithgow for Alley and MacLellan engineers who manufactured ‘knock down’ ships. The building has been vacant since the 1960s and now plays home to the local car boot sale.
