Moonlight Welcome

We left Ho Chi Minh City and flew 1100km north to the old royal capital of Hue where a taxi took us into the city and our home for two nights, the Moonlight Hotel.  The hotel was more expensive than our Airbnb condo in Saigon but the Moonlight is a luxury hotel and is well located having a good selection of restaurants and bars right on its doorstep and only a short walk to the River Perfume.

We received a welcoming drink at check-in and a voucher for a free cocktail in the Sirius Bar, situated on the 15th and highest floor.

Spa Bath

We were shown to our deluxe room and took in the views over the river before relaxing in our own spa bath and having a nap.

Suitably rested, we enjoyed our cocktails and splendid views in the Sirius Bar before venturing out to explore the city and enjoy some Vietnamese food and cold beer.
