Bird Photos from RSPB Lochwinnoch

I dusted down the camera for the first time in a long while and I made my way to Lochwinnoch to combine my dog walking and photography pastimes. Since my bicycle accident, my options have been somewhat limited with no running, cycling, swimming or even yoga. However, I can walk again and I enjoy visiting different places. I’d cycled past the RSPB Lochwinnoch Reserve before and as it welcomes dogs and it’s only about a 30-minute drive from my home, I thought I’d give it a go.

I’m glad I did, it’s only £3 entry, free if you are an RSPB member, and although it’s not the best time of the year for bird watching I managed to catch a few breeds nothing very rare, that said I’d never even heard of a siskin before.
